In towns within the Valencian Community with populations over 10,000, there’s a noteworthy trend of births to foreign mothers. Topping the list, Teulada-Moraira recorded 65.08% of births to foreign mothers in 2022, followed by Torrevieja at 56.23% and Calpe at 52.87%, according to the latest figures from the Institut Valencià d’Estadística. The data reveals a significant presence of foreign nationals contributing to the population growth, with other towns like Pilar de la Horadada, Rojales, and Guardamar del Segura also reporting high percentages of foreign births. This statistic highlights the multicultural makeup of these communities, although it should be noted that smaller municipalities were not included in this analysis.
