València, a beacon of tourism, is on track to have a stellar Easter with hotel occupancy rates averaging 76% during 27-31 March, reaching highs of 86% and 82% on the 29th and 30th respectively. The city has witnessed a surge in interest, evidenced by a 20% increase in flight searches compared to last year, surpassing 1 million searches. Hotel prices have soared to an average of €173, reflecting the high demand. Notably, the airport is set to accommodate over 800 planes, offering 130,000 seats, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. Additionally, more than 30% of arrivals will be from domestic locations, with Italy, France, and the UK following closely. For the upcoming spring-summer flight season, Valencia’s airport will serve 102 airports across 28 markets through 30 airlines, showcasing a significant expansion and laying down a clear marker of its burgeoning tourism sector.
