There is good news for the owners of the 7,600 properties catalogued as illegal homes in the Vega Baja, as the Valencian Community moves to legalise them all.

The Ministry of Territorial Policy has published an instruction manual to help municipalities legalise homes built on undeveloped land. The publication was made available during a conference for Mayors and Councillors from all Vega Baja municipalities at a recent conference in Orihuela.
