Policia Nacional in Elche have detained three individuals in connection with an active and organized drug-selling gang. The suspects, two women and one man, are aged between thirty-seven and fifty-eight. Their alleged involvement led to the purchase of one hundred and ninety-seven Christmas lottery tickets, using proceeds from drug sales with the aim of money laundering. Following an extensive investigation spanning several months, three raids were carried out, resulting in the shutting down of the operation. Cocaine, cash, drug paraphernalia, and valuable items suspected to be stolen were all confiscated during the raids. The detained individuals, who are all Spanish nationals, are now facing charges of drug trafficking and membership of a criminal group.
