The British Paralympic triathlon team has returned to Torrevieja, Spain, to undertake rigorous training in preparation for upcoming competitions and their qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Comprising distinguished athletes such as European champion Claire Cahmore (paratriathlete PTS5) and world number 1 David Ellis (paratriathlete PTVI), the team is engaging in a comprehensive training program that includes swimming, running, cycling, and gym activities. The training camp’s goal is to ensure the team’s athletes are in peak condition as they aim for gold at the next Paralympic Games. The team also includes notable figures like Luke Pollard, the Commonwealth Games 2022 champion, and Jack Hutchens, the winner of the PTVI paratriathlon World Cup race in Alhandra in 2023.
