An impressive exhibition of naval modelling will take place at the Los Aljibes exhibition hall in Torrevieja, organised by the Asociación de Modelismo Naval de Torrevieja. The event, set to happen from the 17th to the 31st of March 2024, will showcase over a hundred static and radio-controlled naval models, making it a captivating experience for all ages, especially children. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of seafaring vessels, from historical ships to modern yachts, all meticulously crafted by skilled modellers. On Sunday mornings, the exhibition will come alive with the sounds of radio-controlled boats slicing through the water, adding an interactive dimension to the display. Admission to the exhibition is entirely free, offering an affordable day out for families looking to explore the fascinating world of naval modelling. The exhibition doors will be open from Tuesday to Friday between 4.30pm and 7.30pm, on Saturdays from 10.30am to 1.30pm, and again from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, and on Sundays from 10.30am to 1.30pm. The event promises to be not just an educational opportunity but also an enjoyable family outing, underlining the vibrant community spirit and rich maritime heritage of Torrevieja.
