In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, the Torrevieja Rowing Club emerged victorious at the II Olympic Rowing Regatta held in Alicante, claiming a total of 12 medals: 5 golds, 4 silvers, and 3 bronzes. The competition saw the club’s rowers compete against participants from seven other clubs across various youth categories, including cadet, junior, and infantil. Outstanding achievements were noted in both individual and team events, with rowers Daniel Martínez Espinoza securing a gold medal, and the team of María Soto Ballester and Sofía Castro Karademitrou also topping their event. This success underscores the Rowing Club’s continued excellence in the sport and its significant contribution to Torrevieja’s sporting pride.
