The Alicante-based MARQ museum is currently hosting ‘Dynasties’, a groundbreaking exhibition delving into the Bronze Age and the formation of Europe’s earliest kingdoms. Featuring 500 unprecedented items, part of a collaborative effort involving 20 European museums, the exhibit includes the remarkable Nebra Sky Disc replica, noted as the earliest depiction of the night sky over Europe, designated a UNESCO Memory of the World Register artifact since 2013. This ambitious cultural initiative, tracing the growth of early societies, their social structures, and technological advancements, remains open until 13 October. Highlighting the interconnectedness of ancient European societies, the exhibition also marks the return of significant Bronze Age artifacts to Spain for the first time in over a century. The MARQ museum has scheduled free admission days to enhance community engagement and appreciation of this landmark exhibition.
