A 36-year-old Irish man has been arrested in Pilar de la Horadada, Spain, for his role as a “shuttle vehicle” driver supporting an international drug trafficking operation, unveiled in Operation “Topila”. The Guardia Civil initiated the investigation in June 2023, dismantling a criminal group involved in international drug trade. The suspect was caught in Rojales and faced drug trafficking charges on February 17, before being conditionally released by Torrevieja Court, which also discovered the detainee had a judicial warrant for document falsification.
