On Sunday in the town of Jávea, a wildfire outbreak forced the evacuation of residents from their homes. The fire, which started at the Camí de la Morera in the Saladar area around 17:30, prompted the local town hall to report the evacuation of approximately 70 people from 25 properties due to the intense flames and strong wind gusts at the time. The fire service declared the blaze ‘under control’ at 19:26, enabling the affected residents to safely return to their homes. The incident drew a rapid response from the emergency services, who worked tirelessly to contain the fire and ensure the safety of the local population. Further details on the incident and the response from the community and local authorities can be found in the upcoming edition of Friday’s Costa Blanca News.
