In a significant crackdown on property theft, the Guardia Civil of Valencia has apprehended two individuals responsible for the theft of 203 gas cylinders across service areas in Valencia and Castellón. These cylinders, collectively worth 9,000 euros, were purloined during nighttime raids, evading public notice. The arrests culminated from detailed investigation including surveillance footage analysis, leading to the capture of two 46-year-old men at Moncada, Valencia. Charged with ten counts of theft, the duo’s illicit operations spanned from February 20 to April 6, with the authorities successfully reclaiming 18 of the stolen cylinders, approximated at 1,000 euros. The case proceeds within Moncada’s judiciary, signalling a sharp response to organised property crime.
