Voters have until midnight tonight to register for the upcoming UK general election.

Since the announcement of the election, over 1.5 million people have registered.

Registering online takes around five minutes and requires a name, address, and National Insurance number.

Eligible voters must be British, Irish, or qualifying Commonwealth citizens aged 18 or over on polling day – the 4th July.
