This September, the Port of Valencia will be turned into a slice of Bavaria. From September 12th to September 28th, the city will host the Paulaner Oktoberfest, a festival that has become a tradition and draws thousands of visitors each year, drawn by beer, German food, and an atmosphere that leaves no one unmoved.
This is not an easy event. We’re talking about a full experience: Paulaner beers in their most recognisable flavours, freshly made pretzels, bratwurst and bockwurst sausages, Bavarian-style pig knuckle, and, of course, the classic apple strudel. All this is accompanied by live music, competitions, and a joyous atmosphere reminiscent of Munich’s large tops.
The big opening will occur on Friday, September 12th, at 6:00 PM, with the tapping of the first beer keg, to the traditional cry of “O’Zapft is!” From that point forward, the harbour esplanade will be the scene of toasts, music, and plenty of entertainment. Want to learn all about Oktoberfest 2025?
Oktoberfest 2025 Schedule & Programming in Valencia
To ensure that no one misses the party, the timetable is comprehensive and adaptable to all needs:
Monday through Friday: 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 01:00 (uninterrupted).
The program will begin on the 12th, with the uncorking of the first keg and the filling of the first one-litre jug. The 5,000 m² tent, complete with long tables, seats, and ambient lighting, will come to life.
Each day, a live DJ will provide the soundtrack for the party. The atmosphere will be enhanced by activities suitable for all ages, including the now-famous jar lifting contest, a challenge that combines strength, endurance, and a lot of fun.
Admission will be absolutely free, making the festival one of the most accessible options for September. Furthermore, its location in the Port of Valencia, near to the Marina Real metro station, makes it accessible to both inhabitants and tourists.
An event that is already in Valencia
The Paulaner Oktoberfest has quickly become a mainstay on the city’s leisure calendar, with only three editions. And we’re not just talking about beer here; this is a cultural and culinary adventure that allows attendees to experience the essence of a genuine Bavarian festival without leaving Valencia.
This September, the Turia River’s capital will once again host collaborative toasts, shared tables, and nights packed with music and good vibes. A fantastic opportunity to say goodbye to summer and toast together, shouting “Prost!”
