At 12:00PM, the celebration begins with a “Day Party” atmosphere. There will be food and drink stalls, live music and family-friendly entertainment, including a bouncy castle for kids near the finish line.

The main parade starts at 5:00 p.m. This is the highlight of the day, featuring vibrant floats, dance troupes and participants wearing elaborate costumes.

Parade Route:

The parade traditionally winds through the streets of Playa Flamenca:

The starting point is the roundabout at the intersection of Calle Nicolas de Bussi and Calle Pintor Ribera, near the town hall/Playa Flamenca commercial area.

The procession moves along Calle Nicolas de Bussi, heading for the CEIP Los Dolses School.

The parade ends at the school/fairground area, where the celebration continues with music and prize ceremonies for the best costume.

What to Expect:

Unlike the more traditional Spanish carnivals in the city centre, the Costa version incorporates a diverse range of international styles, including Braazilian-style, Samba, British-inspired fancy dress, and traditional Spanish carnival troupes.

The route is also relatively flat and easily visible from the pavements along Calle Nicolas de Bussi. It is extremely popular, so arriving early to secure a spot near the start or end party zones is recommended.

The event is free to attend as a spectator
