This trio will be performing in the reimagined musical “Mamma mia!” at the Teatro Principal from January to February of 2026. \nStarting next year\, from 22 January to 8 February\, the musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ will make a stop in Alicante on its tour of Spain\, following successful seasons at the Rialto Theatre on Madrid’s Gran Vía set to the music of ‘Dancing Queen’ and other legendary Abba tunes. \n‘Mamma mia!’ is getting a fresh Alicante production at the Teatro Principal\, complete with a mind-blowing set that spans the whole stage and features a variety of lighting elements and moving parts. The act also has dance and creative song compositions. \nThe stage is set for Sophie\, who is both engaged to be married and engrossed in her quest to discover her father\, as the song “Honey\, honey” plays in the background. In the middle of August\, the action starts after Donna finds her mother’s diary\, in which she reflects on her youthful anecdotes. \nThe fun will return with the musical ‘Mamma mia!’ to Alicante\, with the essence of the libretto and the original proposal by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus\, members of Abba; for three weeks at the beginning of 2026.
