This event is a great way for the public to see the hard work and technical skills of the students in a live setting. \nWhat is an open class?  Unlike a formal end-of-year gala where the full costumes come out and it’s all about lighting\, an open class is more of an intimate look at the world of dance. \n\nWith live training you get to see the dancers performing their actual exercises and barre work\, as well as choreographed rehearsals.\nThe academy specialises in classical ballet and neoclassical dance.\nThe academy is also currently preparing for their upcoming major show\, which is titled ‘Al Romperse Las Estrellas’ (When the Stars Break)\, which is inspired by the zodiac and the cosmos. This open class will likely feature sneak peeks of those cosmic-themed routines.\n\nWhy should you consider going?  \nThis event is a fantastic event if you have children who are interested in starting dance\, or if you simply appreciate the athleticism and grace of ballet. The Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center is right in the heart of town\, so it’s very easy to combine this event with a walk along the harbour or stop for a nearby coffee.
