Man on trial in Dénia for sexually abusing his partner’s 13-year-old daughter

A guy is being tried in the Third Section of the Alicante Provincial Court today, February 13. He is accused of sexually abusing his partner’s young daughter for more than two years. Based on these details, the prosecutor’s office wants a 10-year prison term for a crime they say is still going on: sexual abuse of a minor with access to a sexual location.
The events took place in Dénia in 2013. A document from the Public Prosecutor’s Office says that between that year and 2015, the man sexually abused the daughter of his girlfriend. At the time of the crime, the victim was 13 years old, and the prosecution says she was made to do sexual acts until she was 15 years old.
So, the complainant says that the defendant sexually abused the child whenever he was by himself with her, either at home or at work.
The girl always refused to take part and looked for reasons not to be with the man by herself. However, the Public Prosecutor’s Office says that the accused “was able to get her to agree by taking advantage of her helplessness because she was young and because he was her stepfather and lived close to her.”
