The city of Torrevieja’s culture department has just announced an extensive season of cultural events running from September to December 2025, with over 50 performances designed to cater to all tastes. Torrevieja’s growing reputation as a cultural hub on the Costa Blanca is reflected in its lineup of concerts, theatre, dance, magic, comedy, family shows, and exhibitions.
Highlights include major productions such as ‘Estado de Alarm,’ on August 23rd, a comedic yet poignant take on pandemic life starring Lara Diblidos and TV star Carlos Sobera; the delightfully twisted comedy ‘Rematame Otra Vez,’ starring Belinda Washington; and the timeless ballet El Lago de los Cisnes.

Miguel Lago, David Navarro, Juan Amodeo, and the Spanish comedy duo Los Morancos will perform alongside acclaimed violinist Ara Malikain, magician Jorge Luengo, and the Royal Concert Orchestra’s cutting-edge ‘DJ Symohonic’ concert.
Fans of classic pop can enjoy top-notch tributes to icons like Michael Jackson (He’s Back), Rafael Sabina (500 Noches), The Beatles (The Flamming Shakers), and Vaiana with ‘La Isla de Maui’ for families.
Experience Torrevieja’s homegrown talent in music and theatre through musical routines, the 37th International Choral Meeting “Cuidad de Torrevieja,” and the 12th International Singing Competition “Ricardo Lafuente.”

The traditional cycle ‘Flamenco y Sal’ appears monthly from September onwards. You can also enjoy jazz evenings at Viernes de Palacio, outdoor concerts in public parks, and the much-loved Torrevieja audiovisual film festival.
The galleries host seven exhibitions, including works by impressionist Luis Cajal, hyperrealist Jesus Ingles, contemporary scenes by Ekhaterina Romahskina, and abstract pieces by Fran Berbel. A Plein Air Painting Contest rounds out the autumn art schedule.
Torrevieja’s Municipal Theatre and International Auditorium has staged 103 events in just seven months, attracting over 53,000 visitors, with major standout performances such as The Phantom of the Opera completely sold out. Officials expect the next quarter to match—or even exceed—this level of cultural engagement.

Tickets for most events went on sale 15th July via the Teatro Municipal box office and the official Cultura Torrevieja website – https://torrevieja.es/es/noticias/2025-07-15-anunciada-nueva-programacion-cultural-torrevieja-despedira-ano-grande?
For those living on the Costa Blanca or visiting Torrevieja this autumn, this cultural season is a can’t-miss. Whether you’re into theatre, pop, comedy, dance, or art, there’s something here to enrich your expected life.
