This is a simple yet festive Christmas treat that’s ideal for a party. It’s a quick, no-bake recipe that starts with crackers and is topped with caramel, chocolate and festive sprinkles.

Ingredients

1 packet of cream crackers

225 g unsalted butter

225 g brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

340 g of dark chocolate chips or a chopped dark chocolate bar

Festive sprinkles (red, green, white)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a 10x15-inch baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Make the Caramel: In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and light brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Bake the Crackers: Evenly distribute the caramel mixture over the crackers. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the caramel bubbles.

Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate evenly over the top of the crackers right after they've been removed from the oven. Allow a few minutes for the chocolate to melt before spreading it with a spatula.

Decorate and chill: Sprinkle the festive sprinkles over the melted chocolate. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate has fully set.

Break and Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened, break the bark into pieces to serve. Keep in an airtight container at room temperature.
