We’re on the Costa Blanca, soaking up the last of the summer sun, but something has just dropped that has us thinking about cosy jumpers and golden leaves. Starbucks Spain has unveiled its new autumn menu, which focusses on bringing classic, comforting flavours to our sun-kissed shores.
Embracing the Autumn Vibes
When you walk into Starbucks here, you are greeted with the distinct scent of autumn. The star of the show, of course, is the iconic “Pumpkin Spice Latte.” It’s back and better than ever, and a personal favourite of mine! You can order it hot, iced, or as a frappuccino. Whether you’re in Alicante or Benidorm, it’s the ideal little taste of home, like a warm hug in a cup.

But it’s not about the PSL this year. The menu also includes the popular Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, which are both made with pumpkin. For a new twist, they’ve introduced the Tiramisu Velvet Latte and its iced counterpart, a rich and velvety blend of espresso, mascarpone, and mocha. Talk about a tasty upgrade.
The Perfect Costa Blanca Pairing
While we may not have crisp autumn air, we do have our own way of enjoying the new menu. Consider this: you’ve just finished a lazy afternoon at the beach, and the sun is starting to set. You go to Starbucks, order a hot Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, and find a seat to watch the world go by. The buttery, nutty notes are an ideal complement to the Mediterranean breeze. Or perhaps you’re exploring Altea’s charming streets; a cool pumpkin spice frappuccino is the perfect treat to enjoy while you wander. It’s about incorporating those autumn traditions into our distinct coastal lifestyle.
So, while the leaves don’t change here on the Costa Blanca, our coffee cups do. It’s a delightful reminder that a new season is on its way, one delicious sip at a time.
