The Costa Blanca is consolidating its position as one of the most dynamic Mediterranean residential destinations, with Benidorm leading the way in terms of international interest. Taylor Wimpey Spain, a home developer with over 65 years of market expertise, reports that 50% of buyers in developments such as Breeze fit a specific profile: individuals aged 45 to 59, predominantly married men of Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and Belgian origin.
This group symbolises the current market trend: mature, well-off purchasers seeking functional, sustainable, and well-connected properties near the sea with easy access to all services. “This is a customer who is looking to spend long periods of time or even establish a home here,” says one estate agent.
A variety of characteristics, in addition to the temperature and proximity to the sea, contribute to the appeal of locales like Balcón de Finestrat. Accessibility, the quality of healthcare services, safety, and urban adaption for the elderly or those with limited mobility have made this place a viable and appealing option for year-round living, particularly among Central and Northern Europeans.
“Today’s foreign client seeks a home to actually enjoy, not only a stopover. They seek light, well-being, security, and connectivity. They seek a spot where they may live comfortably in a well-kept environment with local facilities. That’s the demand we’re seeing, and developments like Breeze are directly responding,” they continued.
