People in Dénia are reminded by the city council how important it is to take out their rubbish at the right time to avoid fines and help keep the city clean. It is now against the law to put trash in bins before 9 pm or anywhere else. The Municipal Ordinance on Urban Cleaning (Article 100) says that people who break the rules can be fined up to €600.
The goal is to make sure that the late-night collection service can empty the bins before midnight so that trash doesn’t pile up during the day. Outside of these hours, putting things in the containers can make them smell bad and get dirty, which can attract bugs and make it hard to clean and maintain.
Following this plan is important because it not only makes things look better and is better for your health, but it also makes it easier for workers to clean the containers every so often.
Take care of your city. Everyone needs to help make Dénia better. Keep in mind that the bins will have stickers that tell you exactly when and how to put the rubbish away.
