After the last event’s success, the 4th Ice Cream Grand Prix will be held again in Benidorm (Alicante) on February 24th and 25th, 2025. This will make it the second most important ice cream event in the world. The best ice cream makers will compete at the Meliá Villaitana Hotel. To get to the top, you’ll need to show quality, creativity, and skill.
More than 4,500 ice cream and dessert shops from all over Europe will be at the event, which will have 150 exhibitors. It will be a key meeting place for the industry, which has more than 3,000 points of sale in Spain and is growing all the time.
A contest with high-end prizes
The competition will start on February 24 with people trying to make the best chocolate and mango ice cream. A trained jury will taste the creations without anyone knowing and give live scores. The names of the finalists and winners will not be made public until the final count is over.
The 12 best ice cream makers will move on to the big final on February 25. There, they will have to make the best Cremino ice cream. The winner will not only be called the Spanish ice cream king, but they will also get a Porsche Boxster. The winner will get a Vespa Piaggio, and the third place winner will get a Bravo bike.
An event that had an effect on society and spread around the world
In addition to the competition, the Ice Cream Grand Prix shows its support for the community by working with the Food Bank of Spain. Well-known master ice cream makers and pastry cooks, such as Paco Torreblanca, also take part.
The event is also going beyond Spain. In 2025, it will be held again in Budapest, Vienna, and Split, in Hungary, and in March 2026, it will be held again in Erfurt, Germany. This will make it a global standard in the ice cream industry.
