From Norwich Airport, Ryanair has added more flights to the famous holiday spot.
This summer, the Irish airline giant has added a third trip a week from Norwich to Alicante.
Along with Ryanair’s current Wednesday and Sunday flights, the new Friday service will run from June 6 to October 24.
The flight on Friday will leave Alicante at 11:20 a.m. and go to Norwich. It will make a quick turn around and come back to Costa Blanca at 1:55 p.m.
On March 30, flights to Malta will start flying again every two weeks, and on March 31, flights to Faro will start flying again every two weeks.
The manager of Norwich Airport, Richard Pace, said, “We are thrilled that Ryanair is adding a third weekly service to Alicante this summer.”
“This extra flight gives travellers more options and shows that Ryanair is still committed to the route.”
“It’s great news for vacationers from Norwich who want easy ways to get around.”
Most of the increase in passengers at Norwich Airport can be traced back to the start of the Ryanair flights in April of last year.
During the summer of 2024, Ryanair carried almost 63,000 people, which was more than the original prediction of 60,000.
