A terrible incident between a car and a motorbike on Avenida Alcalde Ramón Pastor, close to the El Corte Inglés shopping complex, resulted in the death of a 47-year-old man in Elche. The accident happened on Friday, 21st February around 3:00 p.m.
The driver, the victim, passed away very immediately. The man’s body stayed at the scene until the on-duty judge removed it, and the medical staff from the Emergency Medical Service (SAMU) ambulance that was called to the incident could only confirm his death.
Monóvar cyclist accident
In contrast, a collision involving three bicycles in Monóvar on Saturday morning injured three persons. The Generalitat Valenciana’s Information and Coordination Centre for Emergencies (CICU) reports that two of the injured, ages 44 and 45, suffered bruising in the incident, which occurred at approximately 10:05 a.m. on the CV-834 at the turnoff to El Mañá.
The 69-year-old third rider was taken by helicopter after suffering numerous injuries.
Two Basic Life Support ambulances were also sent to the accident location in addition to this air ambulance. The Vinalopó University Hospital in Elche received the three injured.
