Police sources say that Benidorm Local Police apprehended a Serbian man based on an International Arrest Warrant. According to the same sources, the 32-year-old man had criminal histories in Spain and was under investigation by local officials for a number of alleged crimes.
According to local police, the Serbian man was wanted by authorities in his home country for involvement in a criminal organisation.
Various offences
Local police in Benidorm were investigating him for document falsification and other road safety violations, they said.
According to the same sources, the now detained individual was “also known for working as security at a leisure venue in the English area.”
