Uber driver in Alicante fell asleep and rolls car over

The Uber collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Calle Jovellanos, near the city entrance of Alicante. The driver was driving alone, and information acquired by local police indicated that he fell asleep at the wheel, was travelling at a low speed, and crashed with flowerpots on the road, resulting in the spectacular flip of the car.

Uber customers who were waiting for him on the same street for a trip observed the accident and were forced to rent another vehicle from the company.

Following the spectacular accident, the car overturned, and the driver was soon assisted by the Alicante Local Police, who freed him without the use of firefighters.
