According to the Provincial Fire Consortium and the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU), a traffic accident on the AP-7 near Finestrat at 7:00 a.m. yesterday, Sunday May 25th, injured nine individuals after three vehicles collided.
A SAMU unit, two Basic Life Support (BLS) units, and a transport ambulance were dispatched to the scene of the collision to aid those injured.
A 55-year-old woman was seriously hurt after becoming stuck in her vehicle. Firefighters had to free her by opening the mangled automobile so that SAMU officials could access her.

Following the call, the rescue operation began at 7:07 a.m. and ended at 8:25 a.m. It included a command unit (UMJ), a heavy urban fire department (BUP), a rescue vehicle (FSV), a sergeant, a corporal, and six firefighters from Benidorm’s fire station.
Injured minors
The rescued woman sustained multiple injuries, while the other victims received minor bruising. Five people were taken to Marina Baixa Hospital in La Vila Joiosa: a 55-year-old woman, a 10-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy, a 64-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old male.
Meanwhile, four more patients were sent to the Benidorm Clinic: a 39-year-old male, a 17-year-old girl, a 49-year-old woman, and a male whose age is unknown.
