The Guardia Civil has initiated a search for a 77-year-old man in the Valencian town of Bocairent and its surroundings. He has been missing for several days, according to authorities at the Provincial Command. They say that the operation is ongoing but have not supplied any additional information.
Blood traces were purportedly discovered at the missing person’s residence, raising suspicions that he was the victim of an attack or kidnapping.
This notion is also supported by reports that the missing person’s vehicle, which he was not driving, recently ran a police checkpoint.
The missing man’s relatives raised the alarm after not finding him at the hotel he owns, where he usually stays.
