The trial of a Benidorm resident accused of storing, receiving, and sending a large amount of audiovisual material containing paedophile content featuring “very young minors” is set to begin today, Tuesday June 10th, in the Provincial Court of Alicante, according to the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
During a search of the defendant’s house in November 2021, officers discovered a substantial amount of child pornography that he allegedly shared with other users.
Since September 2020, they have been carrying out these practices online from their city residence.
The Prosecutor’s Office is seeking seven years in prison for the offence of possessing and distributing child pornography.
