From June 15th, summer hours for traffic in the centre of Santa Pola

The impacted streets in the city centre will be blocked to traffic from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. On Monday through Saturday, traffic will remain completely prohibited 24 hours a day, except for public services and crossings.

The Department of Citizen Security and Police will apply the regular summer traffic restrictions in downtown Santa Pola on June 15th, which will last until September 15th.

The cut-off sites that are closed to vehicle traffic and prohibit the passage of cars during set hours include:

These portions will be off-limits to traffic from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, holidays, and during particular events, traffic will be closed 24 hours a day with prior notice, and the area will be designated exclusively for pedestrians.

Additionally, the Castle’s front façade and centre roundabout area will be blocked to automobiles. Only cars used for public services and those officially and sometimes authorised by security personnel will be authorised to use the route. Vehicles found to be over the limitations will be reported.

Similarly, garage owners nder the concession will be allowed to access their garages during restricted hours, as long as they are located in areas where parking and traffic are prohibited and take the necessary precautions to travel on the affected roads.

Vehicle traffic and parking will be prohibited in the affected areas unless authorised by the appropriate security forces, with the exception of areas allocated for public services and the aforementioned garage users.

Any private users, suppliers, or those who enter without the express approval of security forces will be sanctioned and must stick to the approved traffic hours, which are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
