Calpe has reopened two tourist information points on the beaches to reinforce and improve visitor services. Tourist information officers have joined the department’s team to staff these locations on Arenal-Bol Beach and La Fossa Beach.
The beach information points are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with extended hours in July and August. Both sites are placed on the promenades, directly on the beach, which is why they have long been popular.
The project improves tourist assistance, provides more personalised supplemental services, and encourages direct engagement with guests. These centres join the existing offices: the Tourist Info Centre, located in the Plaza del Mosquit in the heart of the Old Town, and the Tourist Info Peñón, opposite the Salinas. These offices are open year-round and have the primary objective of providing current information, particularly on the location, as well as promoting Calpe’s complementing offerings.
The continuing excellent acceptance of this service, particularly the number of enquiries, makes it a suggestion for implementation year after year.
