Driver suffers cardiac arrest on the Orihuela Costa

The Emergency Information and Coordination Centre stated that on Tuesday afternoon, June 24th, medical professionals rescued a man who had suffered cardiac arrest along Calle Villamartín on the Orihuela Costa.

The victim, a 64-year-old man, went into cardiac arrest while driving near the golf course. After receiving the alarm, a SAMU unit arrived on the scene and administered Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Fortunately, they were able to restore a pulse and revive the patient. He was taken to Torrevieja Hospital once he had stabilised.
