National Police have arrested five men for beating a man in Murcia and causing him various injuries.
On April 21st, National Police officers launched an inquiry to clarify the situation after a man submitted a complaint at a police station, claiming that many people had assaulted him.
The agents’ investigations led to the identification of individuals involved in the attack, who could potentially have connections to drug trafficking.
Once the agents identified the criminals and obtained the necessary judicial authorisations, they conducted searches at two properties where they were located. This resulted in the arrest of one of the attackers, as well as the confiscation of small amounts of hashish, cash, multiple doses of illegal narcotics, huge knives, and a weapon.
The remainder of individuals involved in the incident were apprehended in the following days.
The inmates have been charged with assault and unauthorised possession of weapons, and the primary suspect has been hauled before the court.
