A three-car traffic accident at kilometre 211 of the N-332 near Oliva injured four people on Saturday afternoon, June 29th. According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU), the accident occurred soon before 7:30 p.m. The call was received at 7:26 p.m.
A SAMU unit and a basic life support (BLS) ambulance were sent to the scene of the collision. The medical teams treated four patients with varying injuries and symptoms.
The SAMU (Medical Service for the Unemployed) stabilised a 35-year-old woman with multiple injuries and brought her to Gandia’s Francesc de Borja Hospital. Meanwhile, the SVB unit transported an 80-year-old woman with neck problems to Oliva Health Centre. The same vehicle treated and transferred a 51-year-old woman and a 59-year-old male who were experiencing anxiety attacks after the collision.
The Guardia Civil Traffic Department is investigating the cause of the accident. During the emergency services response, traffic in both directions became congested.
