A woman has been arrested by the Guardia Civil for allegedly taking jewellery from a neighbour’s home in Cieza and using missing keys.
The investigation began when a woman reported losing a certain amount of jewellery and €1,000 from her residence. As part of the “Plan against Residential Burglary,” the Guardia Civil initiated an operation to investigate the incident, identify the culprits, and retrieve the stolen items.
During the visual assessment of the home, authorities discovered that none of the apartment’s doors or windows had been forced. The victim stated that she had lost a set of keys that had obviously been illegally used to obtain entry.
The Civil Guard investigated gold-buying companies in Cieza and discovered two stolen gold bracelets worth more than 1,000 euros. The bracelets were recognised and returned to their respective owners.
The investigation led to the identification of the alleged robbery offender, a Cieza lady who was detained on charges of robbery and fraud.
