Two individuals were rescued, treated, and sent to the hospital after being injured in a collision between a coach and a truck on Monday morning, July 14th, during peak hours.
Sources from the Emergency Coordination Centre say it happened at Kilometre 145 of the A-30 highway in Murcia municipality.
At 9:08 a.m., 1-1-2 got calls reporting an accident
Callers said that the car’s passengers were injured and trapped inside, as well as the vehicles that crashed.
They caused a big traffic backup on the way to Cartagena.
The Guardia Civil and Fire and Rescue Service of Murcia City Council, as well as ambulances with paramedics from the Region of Murcia’s Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061, conducted patrols.
After being rescued by firefighters, the car’s passengers were stabilised by paramedics and sent to the Virgen Hospital in Arrixaca, Murcia, with injuries that did not appear to be gravity-related.
