Police checkpoints in Santa Pola: This is what’s happening

The Santa Pola Local Police have increased security measures in the Gran Alacant area to ensure greater public protection throughout the summer months.

In response to the massive influx of visitors and increased urban activity in this tourist area, the police force has been strengthened by the implementation of strategic surveillance points, dynamic patrols, and regular checks in high-traffic areas such as seafront promenades, commercial areas, and access to residential developments.

The City Council is encouraging public participation, by emphasising that security is a shared responsibility. Police reinforcements will be deployed throughout the summer, depending on the changing circumstances.
