A man was detained in Santa Pola for molesting and photographing youngsters.
Following accusations from many witnesses, the Santa Pola Local Police arrested a man accused of molesting and photographing youngsters without authorisation during a sporting event in town. The apprehended man has been handed over to the Guardia Civil, and the appropriate legal actions have begun.
The intervention was triggered by the “swift response” of those present at the site, as well as the involvement of local private security agencies, the police agency said on its Facebook page yesterday, Thursday July 17th.
The Local Police have stated that “the victims and their families are being treated with the utmost respect and protection” and reaffirmed their “zero tolerance” for this type of crime. They also thanked the public for their cooperation, which is “key” in reporting incidents like these.
