The National Geographic Institute (IGN) website reports that a magnitude 1.4 earthquake struck Los Montesinos (Alicante) today, Wednesday July 23rd.
The earthquake struck at 11:57 a.m., nine km deep and east of Los Montesinos.

According to the Generalitat’s Emergency Coordination Centre, the earthquake “has not been felt by the population,” and there are no associated events, as reported on its official X account.
