Just 4 hours ago, Torrevieja Town Hall announced that the usual Friday Market won’t take place tomorrow, Friday July 25th due to the RBF Music Festival which will be taking place on Saturday July 26th and Sunday July 27th.
Both stall holders and customers took to the councils Facebook page to vent their anger. One trader saying “Seems so unfair and infuriating to me… I’m a saleswoman … We don’t have a fixed salary. For every time there’s a party, they take away our workday and pay time…. We receive no rent discount. Another, a customer, said, “It’s not fair that all the marketers will have their livelihood taken away again tomorrow. They are being banned from being able to earn a day’s wage.”
