On Saturday, July 26th, Local Police officers have identified four young individuals, aged 19 to 21, as the perpetrators of an assault that took place on Calle Garcilaso de la Vega in Javea.
The four individuals attacked another young man, resulting in a variety of injuries, for reasons that are still under investigation. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he continues to receive medical care.
The defendants intentionally caused property damage in the vicinity, including the destruction of a perimeter fence belonging to a local business, the destruction of a protective barrier over the riverbed, and the damage of a vehicle located on the street, in addition to the assault. The investigation is currently underway to provide a comprehensive understanding of the facts.

The Local Police are currently conducting the corresponding investigations and will impose charges against those who are suspected of committing alleged crimes of injuries, threats, and damages.
Mayor Rosa Cardona and Councillor for Security Juan Ortolá both reiterated their denial of any violent behaviour on our streets. The prompt response of our officers has enabled the identification of the individuals implicated and the implementation of the appropriate legal measures. Additionally, they have declared that they will persist in their efforts to ensure the safety and tranquil coexistence of our city.
