National Police officers arrested a man for burglary after witnessing him leap from a residence to a public street. The man was found to be carrying a rucksack that contained a number of stolen items.
The incident took place on July 14th at approximately 7 p.m. after a witness observed a man leap from the balcony of a residence in the city of Murcia onto a public road and escape the scene on foot.
Within minutes, National Police officers conducted a search operation and identified a man who matched the aforementioned descriptions, based on the physical characteristics, attire, and direction of escape provided by the applicant.
He retreated upon observing the police presence and was ultimately apprehended. Upon identification, they discovered that he was carrying a variety of jewellery, watches, and cash that belonged to the residence from which he was apprehended while leaping.
The National Police officers arrested the robbery perpetrator, who has been apprehended seventeen times this year, for all of the aforementioned reasons. He was subsequently transferred to the Murcia Duty Court, where he was promptly incarcerated in provisional custody.
