The Guardia Civil is currently conducting an investigation into a woman who caused three traffic accidents and affected at least five vehicles by driving the incorrect way for several kilometres on the A-45 highway through Antequera (Málaga). The incident happened on Monday, July 28, at 1:45 p.m.
The woman was travelling towards Córdoba when the collisions took place at kilometre markers 102, 90, and 82 of the road, in the Malaga-bound lane. The vehicle was driving erratically, and the 112 Andalucía Emergency Coordination Centre received numerous calls alerting them to the situation.
The motorist was ultimately apprehended by traffic officers, who advised her of her rights and subsequently released her. Nevertheless, she continues to be the subject of an investigation for an alleged traffic safety violation. One minor injury was reported in the accident, according to official sources.
