Three arrested for robbing another man for €2,550

Three males, aged 26 to 30, have been arrested by the National Police in Alicante on suspicion of committing a violent robbery. They approached a man with the pretext of purchasing tobacco and violently stole 2,550 euros out of his possession.

The robbery occurred in the access area to the Algeria ferry at the Port of Alicante, and security personnel apprehended two of the putative thieves.

According to a statement from the Valencian Community Police Headquarters, the third individual fled the scene with the money, but was apprehended by law enforcement several hours later.

The detainees have been transferred to the Alicante investigating court subsequent to police investigations.
