Residents and local police extinguish a fire in Calpe

The extinguishing of a fire that had originated in a waste container on Calle Oppenheim in Calpe was a direct result of citizen collaboration. The Local Police officers utilised a hose that was loaned by one of the street residents to suppress the flames. In the interim, the neighbours’ assistance, as illustrated in the image, also facilitated the removal of additional containers from the fire’s path.
