A man and a woman were arrested by National Police officers while stealing inside a property in Alicante, according to a statement from the Provincial Police Station.
The inmates, aged 32 and 47, are accused with burglary after breaking into a residence that was being renovated to steal building materials.
The CIMACC-091 Office summoned officers to a home in Northern Alicante after receiving a tip that the two had leaped over the house’s wall.
When police got at the scene, they interviewed a neighbour who witnessed the events as well as the house’s owner. He explained to the cops that the house was being renovated and that there were building items inside.
After entering the property using the owner’s keys, officers discovered a man and a woman hiding in one of the rooms. Officers arrested these two people on suspicion of burglary.
Following police investigations, the inmates were turned over to the Alicante City Court of First Instance.
