Torrevieja City Council and Telpark have agreed to allow residents and visitors to park in the city centre for €0.99 for 12 hours. The deal will be accessible from September 8th to 30th in the Paseo del Mar Torrevieja parking facilities, which are managed by the firm.
The announcement was made by Councillor for Economic Development and Productive Sectors, Rosario Martínez, area manager of Telpark, José Javier Aguilera, and members from the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (APYMECO). Martínez’s plan aims to enhance the local economy and improve access to the city centre during a crucial month for commerce and hospitality.
Users can participate in the campaign by using the Telpark app and purchasing Multipass passes for 5, 10, or 20 passes. Each pass is tied to a vehicle’s license plate, but it can be changed at any time. The access system will work automatically using a digital reader, eliminating the need for ticket collection or physical payment.
A 30% discount on electric vehicle charging
As an added bonus, individuals who acquire a Multipass pass will receive a 30% discount on electric car charging until December 31st, 2025, which applies to any Telpark parking lot in Spain with charging stations.
Telpark manages 575 parking spaces in Torrevieja. The company’s app has over 5.6 million users on the Iberian Peninsula and more than 1,300 electric charging stations, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable urban mobility.
