The Institute for the Elderly and Social Services (Imserso) has started mailing accreditation letters to pensioners. This will enable them to plan their trips for the 2025-2026 season, including the 2025 Imserso Valencian Community trips.
This year’s program introduces a key new feature: 7,447 spaces are available for a set price of €50 for those with smaller pensions, equal to or less than non-contributory pensions. The agency will cover the remaining costs of the trip, allowing participants to take part in the Imserso Comunitat Valenciana 2025 excursions.
Another new feature is that users will be able to bring their dogs on stays along the peninsula’s shore and to the islands.
Valencian Community
Reservations in the Valencian Community will be accepted beginning October 6th. This will also apply to Asturias, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, La Rioja, Navarre, and the Basque Country. Sales across the rest of the country will begin on October 8th, marking a significant milestone for Imserso Valencian Community 2025 travels.
The 2025-2026 program includes 879,213 sites, with 440,284 for peninsular beach tourism, 228,142 for island destinations, and 210,787 for cultural and inland getaways.
How does the Imserso program work?
The Imserso (Spanish Social Security Institute) provides pensioners with organised trips at subsidised fares, such as those to the Valencian Community 2025. The purpose is to encourage active ageing and improve the tourism industry during the offseason. Every year, several travel possibilities become available: mainland coast, island retreats, and short holidays. Beneficiaries receive a letter with their ID that specifies the date on which they can formalise their reservations.
News for the 2025-2026 season
The significant new element this year is €50 subsidised places for low-income pensioners. The system ensures that people are not denied the opportunity to travel, with Imserso (the Spanish Social Security Institute) covering the majority of the costs. Furthermore, allowing pets to travel to destinations featured in the Imserso (Valencian Community) 2025 initiative answers to growing consumer demand.
Impact on the Valencian Community
The program provides a big boost for the Valencian tourism sector, particularly the seaside, which accounts for the majority of openings. Hotels, restaurants, and transport firms gain from retirees’ arrival during the off-season, which helps to sustain economic activity and employment beyond the summer months, particularly with Imserso Valencian Community 2025 tours.
