A 57-year-old man died on Monday, September 8th, when his car collided with a truck on the RM-F14 highway in Torre Pacheco, according to 112 Murcia Region.
Several calls have been received at the Emergency Coordination Centre regarding a traffic accident involving a car and a truck on the Torrepacheco-Jimenado road.
When firefighters arrived at the site, they retrieved the victim, who was trapped inside the car. Paramedics treated him, but despite resuscitation efforts, the injured man, 57, died during the transfer to Los Arcos del Mar Menor Hospital.
A Mobile Emergency Unit was called to the area, along with paramedics from the 061 Emergency and Health Management Service and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium’s San Pedro and Los Alcázares station.
